This plant is known as Hot Lips Sage, or simply Salvia. I often spot it in various parts of the neighborhood during my walks, but most of them had long since finished blooming, leaving only empty stems behind. However, today I found one in full bloom, as if it were a fine spring morning. I really enjoy seeing these flowers because they appear so delicate and colorful. To truly appreciate them, you have to get up close, as the flowers are only about half an inch high, growing on long, narrow stems that extend over two feet in length. Enjoy!
