During a recent neighborhood walk, I came across something surprising. Despite the clear, crisp days and occasional frosts we’ve been experiencing, this rose was in full bloom. It’s a testament to the frost tolerance of some roses, especially those sheltered by overhead tree branches, which help buffer the colder temperatures that usually cause frost damage. Additionally, the background grasses in this scene added an intriguing contrast to the brightly colored rose. Enjoy!
