A favorite of mine in the neighborhood is the hydrangea. By this time of year, most have bloomed out. As I stroll around, I occasionally spot a unique type of hydrangea where most of the petals are gone, yet a few vibrant ones seem to sprout as a last hurrah. These colorful remnants are rare, but when I do see them, I can't help but stop to admire their detail and bright hues.  Enjoy!
