This is a Tomatillo, a rare sight on my neighborhood strolls. Also known as the Mexican husk tomato, this nightshade family plant produces small, spherical fruits that are green or green-purple. They are edible, and I’m sure some of you have stories about growing them, eating them, or using them to make salsa. With their vibrant color and interesting texture, they make a fantastic subject for photography.  Enjoy!
