I am sure many of you will recognize this plant...it is starting to pop out everywhere in the hood. It is amazing what a cold snap followed by a warm spell does to bring the flowering plants to life. This is of course one of the many varieties of Rhododendron and given the color I think this is close to what is called a native. I just have to stop and look at them when they get like this as they have lots of texture, color and it helps when they have a few rain drops...ENJOY!
