This Calendula caught my photographic eye today with its soft yellow petals and vibrant cherry-red center. At first, I nearly overlooked it—hidden among taller, colorless green stalks that offered little interest. But it stood apart, quietly bold and captivating. The longer I gazed, the more I was drawn in by the way its petals curled upward, revealing subtle hints of color on their undersides. I’d dismissed it in the past as just another daisy, but today it showed me its quiet brilliance, and I found myself admiring its unexpected charm. Enjoy!
