Wishbone Flower
Ah, the hidden gems that almost slip past our notice! As I strolled by, there it was the unassuming Torenia fournieri, also known as the Wishbone Flower. Standing at a modest 8 to 10 inches tall, it played a game of botanical hide-and-seek among its much taller neighbors and when I leaned in for a closer look, magic unfolded.
Delicate petals—their texture, like whispers of silk against your fingertips. And that purple hue—subtle yet captivating, as if the flower held secrets of twilight skies. Perhaps it’s called the Wishbone Flower because it grants wishes to those who pause long enough to appreciate its quiet beauty.  Isn’t it remarkable how nature tucks these wonders into unexpected corners?  🌿😊  Enjoy!
