While walking by a Japanese Maple today, I noticed two leaves illuminated by the afternoon sun. It quickly dawned on me that these were the last two leaves on the tree. The recent winds had scattered all the others to the ground, leaving these two standing out, seemingly begging to be captured. I've mentioned before how much I admire these leaves for their delicate appearance and brilliant hues. What a delightful sight. Enjoy!
