On my neighborhood strolls to a local park, the only place I encounter Coralberry—also known as Indian Currant or Buckbrush—is along a common path in and out of the park. I pass by this plant quite often, especially during this time of year, as its attractive winter berries catch my eye. Normally, the stems are full of green leaves, but as the weather cools, the leaves dry up, and the berries become a focal point for photographers and a feast for birds. Enjoy!
