Crocus blooms seem to be everywhere you turn, impossible to miss. What grabbed my attention about this one was the striking contrast of the two colors side by side. But on closer inspection, something even more intriguing stood out—the leaves appear to have been completely devoured by slugs before the flowers managed to emerge from the ground.
