Before departing Saturday from a two-week volunteer project rebuilding houses for six families affected by wildfires in Spokane County, I had dinner with fellow volunteers. I was captivated by a beautiful bouquet at the center of the table. What really caught my eye was a single orange safflower standing out among the pink and yellow Alstroemeria, complemented by the vibrant colors of the Chrysanthemum. It was truly a feast for the eyes. Enjoy!
