In my front garden, a Guernsey Lily, sometimes called a Cape Flower, has bloomed for the second time this year. Each time it opens, I find myself pausing to take in its vivid colors and the fragile elegance of its anthers and petals. It’s a quiet delight, especially now, when most of the other plants have faded. This unexpected burst of color feels like a small gift, brightening the space just when it needs it most.  Enjoy!
