Water, earth, fire and air have no boundaries

Inspired by reading the text “The Four Elements”* by Joachim Funke and Michael Wink, suggested by Michael Ackzien.

From a psychological perspective, we are on earth, we breathe air, fire warms us, and we drink water. Moreover, in some cultures, breathing is considered a sign of life; some even speak, esoterically, of a "breathing soul."

Since ancient times, earth, fire, water, and air have been considered the basic materials of natural phenomena and the property of humanity. They do not belong to individuals, but to all human beings: we all need water to avoid dying of suffocation.
To preserve the environment, Joachim Funke and Michael Wink explain that it is necessary to define rules and rights. Water, air, earth, and fire have no borders. Neither do pollution and global warming. It is therefore essential to define common property. The problem is that global powers are only interested in expanding their territory and care little for the environment. Living in a borderless world is becoming a utopia. There will always be multinationals eager to enrich themselves by exploiting natural resources.

In 50 years, our consumption of fossil fuels, metals, biomass, and other materials extracted from the Earth has tripled worldwide. Yet resources are not inexhaustible.
We can improve our future. Before throwing away a piece of paper, cutting down a tree, wasting water, cutting a flower, or uprooting a plant, we must consider the impact of our actions. Reducing our waste, recycling, reusing, and rethinking our daily lives are essential.

Humanity's relationship with nature begins with each of us.

🧊 Water Is Life 🧊

Das Wasser rann mit Zasch und Zisch,
die Erde ward zum Wassertisch.
Und Kind und Eul,
o Greul, o Greul -
sie frissifraß der Walfafisch.

The Shape of Water

I am water, the clear liquid that has no color, taste, or smell, that falls from clouds as rain, that forms streams, lakes, and seas, and that is used for drinking, and much more. I am the shape of what is to come.

Water - this image beautifully captures the serene and calm reflection of unity in a tranquil world. As the boat rests peacefully on the still waters, it symbolizes our shared journey towards harmony and mutual understanding. Let this moment of quiet reflection inspire us all to embrace the spirit of fraternity and connection, bridging the gaps between us.

Water is an essential resource for all living things on earth. It sustains and maintains life. We cannot live without water. There are so many amazing water scenes in this world. For example, waterfalls, rivers, creeks, beaches and the ocean. Cherish the beauty and life force of water.

Formentera Tide pools at Platja de Migjorn

Platja de Migjorn is one of most beautiful beaches in Mediterranean Sea and my personal fave, too.

Been there with Anne on our honeymoon :-) Beautiful, calm island - not like Disco/Party Ibiza. You fly to Ibiza - then go by ferry to Formentera. Marvelous there. Once a hippie hangout – today there is not much left, but there is a small main town street named by King Crimson. They once did a song called Formentera Lady – and Formentera did not forget. Some Pink Floyd and Soft Machine musicians have been hanging round there, too.
